Today I began editing the two flash backs shown in the product. As you can see from the timeline, I have done up to the flashback. We filmed the flashbacks in a very bright toilet and so will not need tweaking to get the bleached effect we want.
In order to create the transitions within the flashbacks, I decided to look in the stock transitions as I had one in mind that would look terrible anywhere, except for in this particular flashback. I recalled the transition 'Bloom' from the previous version of fcpx.
The stock transitions aren't very good which is why I refrain from using them. However, tis particular one appeared to be very good when used in our flashbacks. This is due to the brightness of both the shot and transition.
